Custom Framing

     Picture framing is an art form and technique that has been used for centuries to enhance the beauty of art and paintings. Picture framing is also used to decorate walls, from palaces to living rooms. The style of the picture frames can say a lot about the art that it contains. A contemporary piece not the same as a modern one.  Linda Edmundson takes the time and care to meet with our clients and discus their desires for framing.  Premier has the ability to project, in full size, what  the image will look like in the finished frame of their choosing.

     The picture framing process is not only about hanging and displaying your artwork. It provides the creative use of moldings that miraculously transform the artwork into countless effects that emphasize various aspects of the art within the frame. At Premier Photography, we will frame your images to your exact specifications. Our services also include photo editing, digital image printing, canvas printing, picture framing and matting.

     The material that we use is of high quality wood and metal for quality and durability. Our selection of moldings range from simple modern styles to classic ornate and majestic frames. Our inventory includes wood frames, metal frames, and collage frames, all in a wide range of colors. Our framing service would not be complete without a huge selection of mats. Premier Photography stocks mats in just about any mat color you need in paper mats or acid free mats for archival prints.

     Picture framing is a combination of fine carpentry, aesthetics, and excellent interior design. Linda Edmundson works closely with each client to help choose the elements in order to make your vision a beautiful finished piece.

WEDDING DAY TIPS FROM THE EXPERTS

Plan Ahead
Have your clothing grouped together and on hangers when you arrive at the ceremony location.  If you need to apply make-up or style your hair at the ceremony location, you will need to arrive early enough to be ready at the start time. 

Be Ready On Time
Pictures before the wedding. The wedding party, immediate family, and others that will be in the pictures need to be dressed and seated in the back pews of the sanctuary ready to have their pictures taken no later than two and one half hours before the ceremony begins.  Corsages, boutineers and bouquets should be pinned and/or distributed.

Pictures after the wedding. The wedding party, immediate family, and others that will be in the pictures need to be seated in the back pews of the sanctuary ready to have their pictures taken immediately after the guests leave the ceremony.  Do not leave the ceremony and go directly to the reception!  The photographer will dismiss the various groups to go to the reception after the appropriate pictures have been taken. 

Picture Pace
Be listening for your name or group to be called and be ready to have your picture taken.  This will go quickly since time is limited.  Pictures are taken in a pre-planned sequence. 

Clothing
Girls    It is a good idea to hang dresses in the dressing area ahead of time to avoid wrinkles.  Do not forget your accessories!

Guys    Do not forget to wear dark colored socks with a dark colored tuxedo.  (No, we are not kidding about this one!)

Make up
Makeup should be slightly heavier than normal.  Also avoid makeup with an SPF in it.  Although it is good for your skin in the sun, the SPF tends to create a shine.  Summer shine can be controlled by using translucent powder that knocks out shine without adding additional color.

Rain
Just face it.  We are at the mercy of mother nature.  If it rains on the day of the wedding, do not fret!    Outdoor portions of the wedding will be substituted with additional indoor portraits.  We will make sure there are a wide variety of creative pictures to make your final album pleasing!
